The class

What it is.

Yoga completes the week. Where Spin and Sculpt ask for output, yoga asks for attention: breath, mobility, balance and a slower pace. It is the class that makes the rest of the schedule sustainable.

The schedule includes heated and non-heated formats. Check the booking page for the class you are booking, and bring a mat, a towel and water.

  • Breath-led yoga in a boutique studio.
  • Heated and non-heated formats appear on the schedule.
  • Open to all levels.
  • A natural companion to spin, Pilates and Sculpt.

The shape of it

What a session looks like.

Every instructor teaches in their own way. The arc of the class stays the same.

  1. 01

    Arrive and land

The first minutes are for settling: mat, breath, the room.

  2. 02

    Move with breath

Sequences link movement to breath rather than chasing speed.

  3. 03

    Balance and lengthen

The practice works mobility, stability and longer holds.

  4. 04

    Rest

The class closes with stillness — the reason many members stay for yoga.

Who it is for

For anyone who needs recovery, mobility or an hour that is not about output. Beginners are welcome.

Questions

Before your first Yoga.

Still unsure? Call (619) 230-5231 or email hello@activate-house.com. The team would rather answer the question than have you guess.

Is yoga heated?

Some yoga classes are heated and some are not. The booking page lists the exact format — check before you book or call the studio.

I am not flexible. Can I do yoga?

Yes. Yoga is a practice, not an audition. The instructor offers options and props are part of the room. Tell them it is your first class.

What should I bring?

A mat, a towel and water. Towels are provided at check-in. The studio has lockers, showers and toiletries.

How does yoga fit with the other classes?

It is the recovery half of the week. Pair it with spin or Sculpt, or use it on its own. The class finder can point you to the right starting place.
